All Risk Mortality

Full Mortality coverage is provided for the death or humane destruction of your horse as a result of theft, injury, illness, accident, or disease that occurs during the policy period, anywhere in the U.S.A. and Canada (or as permitted by endorsement to your policy). Your premium rate is based on an animal's use, breed and age.

Major Medical/Surgical

This endorsement provides coverage for the reasonable and customary cost of medical and/or surgical procedures performed on your horse as a result of an accident, illness, injury or disease. This coverage is available on horses between the ages of 6 months and 15 years, non-racing animals. Routine medical and pre-existing conditions are not covered by this endorsement. There are various limits of liability available. A deductible will apply to each claim during the policy period. On certain procedures, a co-insurance may apply.  There is also a deductible per occurrence.

Emergency Colic Surgery Endorsement

Several of the insurance companies we represent offer an Emergency Colic Surgery endorsement as part of their basic Mortality policy, at no cost to you. This endorsement is limited in the amount it will pay if your horse requires emergency colic surgery in order to save its life. This endorsement is not available on any horse with a history of colic, prior colic surgery or other gastro-intestinal disorders.

Surgical Only

This endorsement provides coverage for the actual cost of a surgical procedure performed on your horse, and provides after care coverage for a short period of time after a surgical procedure. A deductible may apply to each claim during the policy period.

Stallion Infertility - AS&D

This endorsement provides coverage for a proven breeding stallion should he become permanently infertile due to an accident, sickness or disease.
